Welcome to 8th Grade Integrated ScienceNorth Gwinnett High School/North Gwinnett Middle School Instructor: Kim Wimpey Kim_Wimpey@gwinnett.k12.ga.us, 8th Grade Integrated Science is designed as a first year high school biology and physical science course for students whose interests lie in math and science. The goal of this course is to present students with a rigorous science curriculum to prepare them for taking Advanced Placement (AP) science classes upon entering high school. At North Gwinnett High School we allow students to take AP Biology in ninth grade, AP Chemistry in tenth grade and AP Physics in eleventh grade. This class is designed to lay a foundation for students to take AP science classes throughout their time at North Gwinnett. |
